Workers at the Ondo state Ministry of Health have been
admonished to put in their best in the new year to enable government fulfill its
goal of proving qualitative and exceptional healthcare services for the people
in the state.
The commissioner for health, Dr. Dayo Adeyanju threw this challenge at the new year prayer session and meeting organized by the ministry
to commit the days ahead into God’s hands.
The commissioner charged the workers to show more commitment
to work in the new year and assure them of more capacity building workshops and training that would help them efficiently drive government’s vision
as well as
records more successes in the sector.
Dr Adeyanju also advised them to review their activities in
the last one year and improve on achievement recorded, discharge their duties
with the fear of God and assured that everybody will be carried along in the
scheme of things to achieve meaningful development in the sector.
While assuring that the people of the state should expect
more health care innovations and policies in the sector in the New Year, the
commissioner charged the health workers to take their health seriously and
practice what they preach.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary, Dr Taye Oni
commended the staff for their support last year and admonished them to do more
this new year.
Prayers, praise and supplications were offered to God at the
event.
