aimed at providing qualitative health
care delivery to the people of the state through its planned programmes.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Dayo Adeyanju made this known during the flag off ceremony of free screening for hypertension and diabetes organized by the Ministry in collaboration with Ondo East Local Government.

Dr. Adeyanju who informed the gathering that regular medical check up and proper diet is the best way to avoid killer disease like hypertension and diabetes.
He advised the people to pay proper attention to their health status and avoid sudden death caused by negligence by visiting medical facilities for check ups.
The Commissioner, who reiterated the Mimiko led administration mandate to bring qualitative health care delivery to where people live, work and play said this screening is an on-going one.
He enjoined the people to vote massively for Dr. Mimiko for second term so as to enjoy more dividends of democracy in all areas. The supervisor for Health in the Local government, Mr Richard Fadoju appreciated the state government and the Ministry for this kind gesture.
He posited that many untimely deaths that can be avoided in the society has become too many and this was the reason why the Local government collaborated with Health Ministry to conduct free screening for high blood pressure and sugar level in their blood.
According to him, the screening will cut across all the wards in the local government area.
He promised to moblilised the people of the local government to vote and work for the second term of Dr. Mimiko.
